We've been raising grass-fed beef for over twenty years now. This isn't a fad or a marketing gimmick, it is a way of life. We started raising cattle this way because it is pragmatic and maximizes the use of the farmland we own along the banks of the Beaver Creek.
Our Philosophy
All livestock has a certain right to be treated well and allowed to grow the way nature has intended. If you treat a cow well and provide for it a life that is stress-free with all of its needs met, that same cow will provide for you in return. You will be rewarded in kind with healthy, delicious beef. Instead of working against nature using chemical fertilizers and herbicides and trying to produce beef year around, we want to work with nature by calving in the spring and using natural methods of increasing soil fertility and productivity. These natural methods help reduce greenhouse gases and promote diversity in plant life.
